Windmills Of The Gods

Captured this on way to Las Vegas last year. Took a couple of shots in series and stitched them together with a software that came bundled with my little camera.
The camera makes it easy to shoot panoramic images by providing a panoramic mode. Dont be fooled, the camera hardware does not support panoramic or a really wide angle lens and is not designed to produce such pictures out of the box, but the software really make up for it. This means you have to take a couple of shots that will define your final panoramic image. Everytime you shoot a picture in this mode, it guides you by showing a litle bit of the previous shot so you can align your camera and take the next shot making it look like one complete picure. The software then takes all the shots in this series and stitches them together to produce a widescreen or a panoramic version of your picture. Smart eh? Hell yeah! If you have this mode on your camera and the software, i would say… “Go Wild… Go Wide… Get Creative” :).
As for the title, i loved this book by Sidney Sheldon and is one of my favorites. I was a big fan of Sidney Sheldon back in my school days. Did you read this book?

I did read “Windmills Of The Gods”
It is a good book! I remember it was one of the books I took with me when we were on vacation in the
Bahamas in 1989. I could not put it down…read it on the beach every day!

Windmill of the Gods, never had the pleasure.
Right now I’m in the middle of the Buddha series by the god of manga Osamu Tezuka but I will keep an eye our for the windmill book.

great pic.
i remembered my visit to holland in the early ’90s. went inside those ancient windmills built way back in 1600s and 1700s. they were massive and made a lot of noise. just wondered how any man could have built them at all!
compared to those demons, these windmills look like cute little poms!

Windmills I remember seeing in Europe alot giant onez…they look so cute 🙂

Shot those windmills once near Nagarcoil, wind velocity was so high aamir that i couldn’t stand without support. those windmills are huge. Good work on th picture Aamir, I have no patience for that.
There is one problems with such windmills, birds get caught in them.
