This was May 2003, driving with a friend to LA. I usually prefer long distance driving in the nights to beat traffic and to make most use of the next day. It was around 430AM, we were on SR152 when the full moon began to rise casting its bright silver glow all around. Totally unprepared for this surreal moment, i pulled over to the side, fumbled in the dark to find the guard-rail by the side of the highway, placed my tiny pocket camera on it, set shutter open for 3 secs, managed to get lucky with this photo, then stood there in awe for 10 mins staring at the wonders that nature paints for us.
