I took this photo @ the Mavericks Surf Contest in Half Moon Bay. This is the most sought-after surfing contest among the worlds best surfers. This year unleashed never-seen-before gigantic and pounding 25-40 foot high waves.

I couldn’t get close to the contest because of the 50,000 people who had already crowded around it. I took this photo after the contest; different set of surfers, but with the same 25+ foot high waves.
